In what can be called a jovial, dreamy, and boisterous wedding ceremony, actress Ankita Lokhande finally tied the knot with her longtime beau Vicky Jain in Mumbai. The couple hosted a series of pre-wedding shenanigans earlier this month before exchanging the vows on 14th December. Their wedding photographs, beautifully lensed by team The Wedding Story, are a treat to the eyes and a testament to their strong & love-filled bond.

FYI, Ankita suffered a major leg injury a few days before her wedding and the doctors even suggested she take ample rest. There were speculations the actress might even postpone the wedding. The Mehendi Ceremony – A Riot Of Colours

Drenched in happy vibes and oodles of colours, the mehendi ceremony was the perfect start to the wedding madness! The décor boasted of vibrant drapes, lots of florals & a whiff of Rajasthani aesthetics. To complement the same, Ankita Lokhande slipped into a colour-burst lehenga from the label Siddhartha Bansal. The lehenga came with an ivory base but was splayed with the designer’s signature zesty colourful embroideries. Vicky took the twinning game a notch higher as he wore a matching outfit from the same designer! The diva bride had the maximum fun, and it is pretty evident in the utterly happy pictures that we can’t stop gushing over!

The Engagement – Drenched In Glitter

If the mehndi ceremony was all about colours, the engagement night was drenched in glimmer & sparkle. Right from the bride’s glorious gown to the décor, it was all pretty dazzling!

Ankita dazzled in a black Shantanu & Nikhil gown at her engagement ceremony. The flowy ensemble featured a steep neckline, a risqué cut at the waist and a voguish cape. And of course, it was sprinkled with a hearty dose of shimmer. The bride let her outfit take the centre stage and styled the whole look with a pair of polki-style earrings. She didn’t wear any other ornament! The look was completed with sleek open hair and nude-hued make-up with dramatic kohled eyes. As for the groom, he looked dapper in black cowled shirt-pants set layered with an ornate silver jacket.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut made for a fashion-forward guest and turned up in a belted lehenga from designer JJ Valaya. She looked absolutely stunning in a violet ensemble which came replete with rich embroideries.

The Wedding – Gleaming in Gold & Beaming with Love

Surreal is the word! Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain solemnised their love in a surreal setup amid the presence of their friends and family. Their faces beamed with sheer love and the eternal happiness of embarking on their blissful journey.

The bride Ankita Lokhande sparkled like a patakha in an all-gold Manish Malhotra lehenga. Yes, she gave quintessential reds and pinks a miss. And how pretty she looked! Regal neckpieces of Raniwala with matching earrings and the ever-raging sheeshpatti designs completed her bridal look. But wait, the dramatic long veil was yet another cynosure and added major maharani feels! PS: She made a solo bridal entry while holding that princess veil. For her glam, Ankita yet again swore the neutral hues with a touch of highlighter and blush. But what added the instant bridal glow to her look was the red jaimalas!
