The richest family of India is ruling our Instagram feeds yet again with the absolutely exuberant pre-wedding celebrations of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta in Switzerland. Yes, in Switzerland! For most of us, pre-wedding celebrations are what? A series of functions like mehendi and haldi held at home, and maybe a glitzy Sangeet night where everyone competes to steal the show on the dance floor. That's it, right? But just look at Ambanis, who are having a GRAND fiesta at a luxury resort town in Switzerland with more than 800 guests in attendance. And oh, leading Bollywood personalities like Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Jacqueline Fernandez are just a few names among the elite guests. 

Just when we thought Ambani's were done displaying their mammoth wealth by hiring Beyonce for their daughter's Sangeet, they proved us wrong by outdoing themselves by hosting this pompous pre-wedding celebration for their elder son, Akash Ambani.

Currently, underway in Switzerland, Akash and Shloka's wedding revelries are fancy beyond our imagination. And we can't wait to share all the lavish things that stole the show at the #AkuStoleTheShlo celebrations. FYI, #AkuStoleTheShlo is their official wedding hashtag.

The winter wonderland carnival

First things first, Ambanis booked St. Moritz i.e. one of the most exotic resort town for Akash and Shloka's pre-wedding functions. It is surrounded with the scenic views of snow-capped Alpine hills and the famous St. Moritz lake. They kickstarted the celebrations with a winter wonderland carnival. Right from a giant wheel, giant cotton candy stalls to more fun rides, the dreamy carnival boasted of it all. Moreover, the decor was also lavishly done with fairy lights that looked magical when the dusk took over.

Akash and Shloka entered on a cutesy white carriage with a crown on top, the moment looked straight outta some fairytale.

The guests were also wooed with a fancy sound and light show. The hashtag #AkuStoleTheShlo also glimmered in the Swiss sky.

The Chainsmokers & Chris Martin performed!

Rumors were rife that Maroon 5 might perform at the AmbaniSangeet in Switzerland. However, we woke up absolutely stunned to see videos of none other than the famous band Chainsmokers and the lead of Coldplay, Chris Martin performing for the Ambanis. Here are some videos.
