Someone once said that marriages are like good long conversations that no one wishes should end. However, the beginning of every marriage is a fateful meeting of two people. Two people who find compatibility with each other which then turns into a happy union. But you know what happens before every wedding? An engagement!

Yes, we know, our excitement seems unreal. But engagement parties, especially during a pandemic, are as much as a reason to celebrate as any. So today, we get to celebrate the amazingly fun engagement ceremony of Aditi and Srijan! A couple that initially thought that there was going to be a typical arranged marriage, but soon the kind of magic they found within their relationship was truly beautiful.

Introducing Aditi & Srijan's Intimate Engagement Ceremony in Raipur

"Ours was a typical arranged marriage, we were introduced and met as per our parent's decision. But we knew, the moment we met, that we had found the one," revealed Aditi, "And then, we deiced to get married on 22nd June."

Due to the pandemic, finding a hotel or banquet hall for their engagement ceremony was not easy. Most of the places were closed, and those that were open were not that spacious. However, the couple had decided on a large space to ensure social distancing. And soon, they found the Hotel Ambrosia.

Once they decided the venue, it was time to start looking for their outfits. However, since getting a customised outfit was not that easy, they decided to go in for pre-stitched ones and finally did find their ideal outfits in the markets of their city. Soon, the day of their engagement was here.

For the engagement, Aditi was dressed in a gorgeous peach-pink outfit, with minimal jewellery and light makeup. Her groom, Shrijan, was dressed in a tan coloured bandhgala, which was stunning for the ceremony.

In fact, the couple had about 50 guests, and ensured to follow all the precautions and welcomed everyone by giving a tiny bottle of sanitiser, a personal mask and a rose (How cute, right?!). One of the most fun things about the function, according to the bride and groom, was the dance performances that their families prepared for each other. So, when Aditi walked-in her family danced and when Shrijan walked-in, his family danced.

"Despite the limitations and the viral outbreak, we managed to have a great time and a dreamy engagement and we couldn't ask for more," concluded the bride. The amazingly adorable couple is due to be married in December this year, and we cannot wait for their intimate function's candid moments!

Another fun thing that makes this engagement special is the fact that this twosome, along with their closest of siblings, filmed a video on their favourite song to make their union!
