And no matter how contemporary of a bride you are, every girl has an underlying want to be called a good chef. But let’s face it, traditional cooking is not everyone’s piece of cake and nor is standing for hours in the kitchen.

Earlier to be a great cook, one not only required a lot of patience but experience too. However, these days its more about cooking smart and tasteful. So, we have jotted down 5 easiest recipes that you could ever find and they're sure to make you look like a MasterChef post your wedding:

1. Chocolate mousse

This is one of the easiest recipes ever and will never let you down no matter what the occasion be. Melt “Damore” dark chocolate bar (easily available at any superstore) in a microwave for 3-4 minutes till it turns into a fine liquid. Add whipped cream to this while hot.Voila! There you have the perfect chocolate mousse. Fill it in shot glasses and keep it in the freezer to chill. You can also layer the bottom of these glasses with crushed Oreo cookies to add another easy punch to this recipe.

2. Zucchini Rolls  

Slice zucchini lengthwise into thick long 1/2 inch strips. Put some butter on it and grill them for about 2-3 minutes each side until tender. Use any kind of stuffing preferably mixed with cheese, spread it on the zucchini strips and roll it up. Seal with the seam side down or with a toothpick. Healthy and innovative.

3. Pesto Paneer

Take some cottage cheese cubes and marinate it in pesto sauce and hung curd. Let the mixture sit for 3-4 hours. Put some olive oil in a pan and grill these cubes for 5-6 minutes each side. Serve as it is or put it on skewers along with grilled tomato and bell peppers.

4. Stuffed mushrooms

Saute mushroom stems with onion and garlic in a pan with olive oil. Fill this prepared mixture inside the mushroom caps. Garnish with cheese or breadcrumbs. Bake these beauties in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

5. Chia seed pudding

Soak one teaspoon of chia seeds in one cup of milk overnight. Next morning use standing glasses and layer them with about two spoons of this mixture. On top of it add some muesli mixed with berries and almonds. Further, top it up with banana and apple cut finely into thin slices. For garnishing either you can use honey, maple syrup or whipped cream.

Ps: Mix 2-3 spoons of Hershey’s chocolate syrup while soaking the chia seeds to get a chocolate flavoured pudding.
