Designer anarkali suits are the rage nowadays and with all good reasons. Some believe basic salwar suits look boring and repetitive. So if you really want to look glamorous, then your best bet is to try a beautiful anarkali. It flatters all shapes and looks good on all occasions. Designers like Sabyasachi, Anamika Khanna, Ritu Kumar & Neeta Lulla are famous for making elegant and tasteful anarakali.

If you are planning to choose a designer anarkali for your next ethnic function, try one in net, georgette or chiffon with zardozi, stone or sequin work. They fall well and look great with embellishments. Full sleeves are also in fashion and so are full-length skirts. You need to ensure that your designer anarkali is well-fitted especially around the shoulders and bust, otherwise it will look shabby. Ivory, gold, peacock blues and pinks are cool colors which are very in this season.

Earthy color anarkali: fabrics used are chiffon, brocade, knitted, use of embroidered patch is very fine, cut work embroidery is been used, paired the anarkali with A-line panel half flared skirt to give it a vintage look.
Since we are talking about elegant look, try a pulled together hairstyles like a bun or a braided fish tail over one shoulder for a polished finish. If you are not too tall or have a fuller frame, then a designer anarkali may not look all that great on you. So choose wisely like a shorter hem which may be a tad less over-powering, experiment with figure-skimming material like georgette and always choose A-line cuts that suit most people.
5. "Bride's maid's Anarkalis"
You want to look gorgeous and stunning but still you don't want to standout, try an Anarkali with heavy borders or heavy dupatta.

Let your anarkali do all the talking and keep your accessories to a minimum. Remember less is more or the look will be too over powering. If your dress is light, pair it with a heavy dupatta and a small clutch to complete your look.
