Mehndi Ceremony being an indispensable ritual of the Indian Wedding Celebrations, brings along with it the application of henna on every bride’s hands. While for some brides this ritual is the most awaited, for the rest exceptionals, it’s JUST a ritual.
Many brides just want to sit back and spend quality time with their family and friends, and not just stay motionless with the mehndi artist and spend hours applying mehndi. Moreover, it’s harrowing for some brides who hate mehndi. It could be the smell of henna, or the lack of patience to sit back, which we're sure many brides encounter.
Shout out to the brides who are not mehndi lovers, or who do not wish to spend hours applying mehndi. We know you’re just finding a way out and we are all ready to grab the opportunity by giving you an underhand.
Take a chill! You cannot embargo the tradition because you are the bride. *Awkward Realisation*
But, all you can do is go “minimal” on it.
