Be it the vibrant outfits or the dreamy decor, we love everything about weddings! It is so endearing to see a couple unite for life in the bond of love as they promise each other to spend the rest of their lives together. People often say perfect weddings ooze romance and are picture-perfect, but for this stunning couple, their wedding was all about giggles, snuggles and making every moment memorable.

Meet Nanki & Shorya, the lovely couple who looked unbelievably gorgeous, to say the least! Nanki, a peppy Punjabi girl, and Shorya, a Himachali boy - both of them born and brought up in Delhi, were introduced by a mutual friend. Isn't it just the best when your partner is also your best friend? Same is the case with Nanki and Shorya; the two hit off very well and have been friends before anything else since then. Their bond as friends made up the base for their really strong and love-filled relationship.

The two got wed in a soiree that boasted of elegant decor, cutesy pictures and fun-filled moments. The couple’s passionate love is quite evident in the pictures which were splendidly captured by the lens of Snapsoul. Packed with sheer love & joy, Nanki & Shorya’s wedding is giving us some major couple goals and will surely leave you drooling over them!

Wedding Ceremonies of Nanki & Shorya

The Engagement Ceremony

The engagement, held at Radisson Blu, Mahipalpur was a fun affair with the most elegant decor and lighting. The night witnessed sagan rituals followed by breathtaking dance performances and drunk shenanigans. The couple went all classy for their engagement look. Nanki slipped into an embroidered dusty pink lehenga with a pistachio coloured blouse by Shantanu & Nikhil. She looked all gorgeous as MUA Gayatri Sharma gave her a soft and supple look with smokey eyes and lightly tinted lips. Shorya complemented her perfectly in his black tux by Qbik.

A Fun-filled Mehndi Night

Followed by the engagement was the fun-filled Mehendi night at Essex farms. The cozy open venue was decked up with fairy lights and bulbs which gave the atmosphere a peppy vibe. The theme of the mehendi was ‘shades of green’.  Right from decor to the guests - everything was decked up in the hues of green.

Nanki looked her best in a customized Lakhnavi sea green lehenga from Solis by Radhika Soni which she perfectly paired up with a unique floral hand bracelet by Artflora and long heavy earrings. A no makeup makeup perfectly amped her look. Shorya aced the colour coordination game and rocked a sea green Kurta set by Qbik. What caught our attention the most were the unique DIY-paper tags pinned on the outfits of the family members upping the personalisation game.

Haldi & Chooda Ceromony

Nanki & Shourya’s daytime haldi ceremony was everything a true haldi is meant to be. Keeping it simple and casual, Nanki looked radiant as she draped herself in a yellow saree and paired it up with floral hath phools. Shorya slipped into an easy-breezy yellow kurta set to get laden into the auspicious haldi batter.

We loved the cheerful vibe of the haldi ceremony as the bride and groom giggled their hearts out. Nanki adorned a lovely pair of long flowy kaleeras and had a lot oft fun with her bridesmaids while rustling the kaleeras.

The Wedding

Nanki & Shorya’s wedding was one glam affair with all the pomp and show. The wedding was hosted at The Lalit, Barakhamba Road. Decorations for the day were kept glitzy with fairy lights and pink drapes. The mandap decor was simple yet unique and was decked up with leaves and tuberoses (rajnigandha).

Nanki’s bridal look swooned us the most as she wore a unique minutely sequined lehenga in hues of golden and red by Gunjan Arora. She paired her attire with minimal jewellery, a meenakari double layered choker set along with a dainty maang tikka and a sleek nath. MUA Priyanka Suri gave her a natural flushed and dewy look which perfectly complemented her outfit. Shourya looked breathtakingly charming in an ivory sherwani along with a powder pink safa and a stole by Qbik.

Post the vedic pheras, the couple also solemnised their love in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony in a Gurudwara.
