Gota patti, vibrant colours and Anita Dongre go hand in hand.

AD's latest collection at India Couture Week 2017 was full of traditional weaves combined with contemporary silhouettes. The collection titled, "Tree of Life" is inspired by Bishnoi's community who can literally give up their lives for saving trees, therefore you'd notice motifs of trees on her garments.

For this season, the designer has experimented with modern silhouettes for the new-age brides and bridesmaids such as embroidered tabards were styled with tulle skirts, tea-length dresses and her signature gota patti lehengas. To make your wedding celebrations more comfortable and enjoyable, most of the garments we saw on the runway had side pockets, because who likes to dance and drink holding phones? We also spotted embroidered juttis, cross-body bags and Obi belts (that are usually seen in kimonos) so that you feel at ease in your couture. The colour palette of her new collection ranges from golds to maroons to blues to emeralds greens.

There were plenty of options to love in grooms wear too. And interestingly, the showstopper was accompanied by her colour-coordinated bridesmaids, nieces and nephews!

Here's what her collection looks like:
