However tiresome it may be, every girl loves to shop for her wedding trousseau. Trousseau is every bride’s best friend and an important source of her happiness.  She will go to places and shop for days, weeks and months just to get the best for her trousseau, and believe me a bride hardly gets tired of this. Even I never got! While one might want to put in as many things as possible in the trousseau, but there are a few things that you need to specifically pack for the first 2 days of your wedding. So, to help you and cut down the clutter, I am sharing a list of things you must pack for the first 2-3 days of your wedding:

1. Suits/Sarees

2. Simple Jewellery

3. Two Sleepwears

4. Flats/Heels/Bathroom slippers

5. Comfortable Lingerie

6. Makeup – Foundation, basic shades of lip color, kohl and perfume are must haves!

7. Makeup Remover/Wet Wipes

8. Safety Pins

9. Handbag

10. Sanitary pads, if you are not sure of your exact date

11. Medicines

You could always add more according to your basic needs but we’re focusing on things you’ll want to keep handy just after the wedding.

Pro Tip:

Make sure that you have separate bags for all the items. For example, 1 bag totally dedicated to traditional wear (sarees & suits), 1 for western clothes, 1 for honeymoon (if it’s right after the wedding), 1 for footwear, 1 for makeup, hair and other accessories. This will help you save time and avoid confusion.
