Q. You have recently been a part of Shahid Kapoor & Mira Rajput's wedding. How was your experience? A. It has been a fantabulous experience. It is always fun working with celebrities. Everyone in Shahid’s family is very humble; there was no hoopla, no drama. I will say, it was a star wedding with all the values & traditions (smiles). Q. What kind of makeup you used in this wedding? A. Following the trend, I kept it very subtle and classy. The makeup given was very fresh and natural using the latest techniques. Q. Who all were brushed by you at Shahid Kapoor's wedding? A. Shahid's Mothers, Neelima Azeem and Supriya Pathak, Sister, Sanaah Kapoor and his Grandmother.
Q. What was the most exciting part of the entire affair? Who was the most fun to work with & why? A. I have always admired Shahid Kapoor's work on screen! It was an honor to work with his family
on such a special event. Moreover, everyone admired our work so that was the exciting bit!
Q. When did you know a career in beauty was for you? A. (With a twinkle in her eyes, she says) I was stumbled upon this career at the age of 11, when the fascination of colors reached another level altogether. This love just blossomed with each passing day and finally I decided to live my dream! Q. What three makeup item should no woman leave home without? A. Your compact powder, lipstick and loads of drama on your lashes. Q. Which is your favorite makeup brand, any two? A. Urban Decay and Bobbi Brown Q. Any tips on how girls can achieve a look that is both "cool" and parent-friendly? A. Keeping it natural always!! Not overdoing it.. Less is more!! Q. What is the right age for girls to start putting makeup on? A. Playing with makeup on your Mum's dressing table is a rite-of-passage many of us will remember, but the right age for girls to start putting makeup on is 14-16 years. Q. What has been the biggest challenge of your career? A. Every challenge is an opportunity to learn more! I strongly believe, positivity in life leads to a great career.
Q. Any makeup tips, for newly married's? A. Must haves in a newly wed's Makeup Vanity are: a BB cream/foundation to cover any blemishes, and compact powder to mattify the skin, a peach/pink colored blusher for a fresh look, a red lipstick is a must, a voluminous Mascara to add drama, your choice of lippers and eyeliners! And don’t miss the Nail paints! My mantra, Look good, feel good!
